Thanks to myspace i found out that Raphael Saadiq was coming out with a new cd. I ordered it from amazon and it is one of the best damn Cd's i've heard in a long time. I've caught myself time and time again saying "R & B isn't the same anymore." This cd sure proved me wrong. He's calaborated with joss stone, jay-z and stevie wonder. Just amazing. The vibe of the cd is completely old school from motown vibes and jukebox tunes. It's eclectic and that's why i like it. You'll catch yourself being in a chilled out mood after listening to this cd. it's just damn good.. some good ol' r and b on a smoothed out hip hop tip.
